Lake Conservation

🌊 Lake Revival

Hyderabad's lakes are turning into cesspools. We're changing that — one lake at a time. Our comprehensive lake revival program includes installation of floating islands, aerators, and automated trash collectors to reduce biological oxygen demand (BoD).

We've already restored 2 lakes — Mansoorabad Pedda Cheruvu and Ramanthapur Chinna Cheruvu — and resolved the AutoNagar chemical lake issue through sustained protests and advocacy.

Our next target: Full adoption and revival of Mansoorabad Chinna Cheruvu.

Tree Plantation

🌳 PYAAR Challenge

Plant Your Age And Raise — our flagship tree plantation challenge. Unlike one-and-done plantations, PYAAR commits to a 3-year protection and nurturing cycle for every tree planted.

The result: 95% survival rate across 5,000+ saplings. We've also bombed 50,000+ seedballs across barren lands and lake shores to restore green cover at scale.

The challenge is simple: plant as many trees as your age, then raise them for 3 years. Can you take it?

Waste Management

♻️ Circular Economy

We educate apartment owners, house owners, tenants, shopkeepers, and small business owners about separating organic, recyclable, and non-recyclable waste at source.

Our approach: build useful objects from non-recyclable plastic (turning trash into treasure), connect communities directly with ragpickers and local raddi shops, and set up pooja waste composting yards at lakes and temples.

We also take stringent action against habitual offenders of garbage dumping and burning using technology and social media.

Education

🏫 School Revamps

We've completed 100% infrastructure revamps of government schools — including borewells, new toilets, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and community gardens.

Beyond infrastructure, we visit schools to teach students the importance of cleanliness and civic sense in their daily lives with practical action plans they can implement immediately.

As part of our CLEAN initiative (Carbon Level Evaluation and Action for Net-zero), we're working to make schools carbon-neutral through waste management and green energy.

Sustainability

🏃 Net-Zero Events

Dha3R is the official charity partner for the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2026. But we do more than just participate — we volunteer and lead the complete sustainability operations.

Using "Athletics for a Better World" sustainability standards, we're targeting to make the marathon event completely net-zero by 2027. This includes waste management, carbon offset calculations, and sustainable practices across the event.

Using CLEAN (Carbon Level Evaluation and Action for Net-Zero) methodology, we make schools carbon-neutral.

Community

Managed, Organized, Digital, Eco-friendly And Livable — that's what MODEL stands for. We adopt one colony and transform it into a replicable blueprint for sustainable urban living.

This includes: organized waste disposal systems, wet waste composting units, water harvesting pits, community gardens, and digital tracking of environmental metrics.
